Anyways, about your "other child from Krypton" idea, it would be interesting to set some light upon racial tensions on Krypton. Would the "black" race be superior or inferior to the "white" race that Kal-El is from? And how would Kal-El react to such a Kryptonian? Is a romance possible? Are Kryptonians anti-segregationists, or are they even worse bigots than we are?

And what would be the political position of Sudan then? On whose side would Jiira be? And what would the "American" (in respect to the situation, Superman is and always has been an American throughout his life. His kryptonian element is underplayed by comparison), Clark Kent, think of the political atmosphere?

BTW, I've got a couple of ideas to add myself. First, SolarStar doesn't fit. It doesn't translate to Arabic (trust me - I am a Jordanian). A better name would be Desert Star or Sudan's Gem (Jawhara't Al-Sudan).
