I fear that such a symbol would have a very negative effect, really. It would give the racists something to rally against, and possibly sway some of the more civil-minded people to lean towards their cause. Just as the Black Panzers damaged public opinion of all blacks, so too could a man of Steel.UNLESS... The white supremists had an agent of their own first, so that Steel would be seen as a defensive measure against a foe that called for such power. But who would make the perfect villain? Superman, in an aryan sort of way? Probably not a good idea; DC would never villify the main man for good (just look at how The Dark Side ended).
Any idea who to use?
