"BATMAN: NOSFERATU"
"WONDER WOMAN:
THE BLUE AMAZON"
BATMAN: NOSFERATU draws its inspiration primarily from the classic films, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari ( 1919) and Nosferatu ( 1922) for its portrayal of The Bat-Man of Metropolis.
The story takes place a year or two after SUPERMAN'S METROPOLIS. CLARC- KENT, the new Master of Metropolis, has begun reshaping the City in his image.
When the intrigue begins, the evil DR. ARKHAM, master of the eponymous Asylum, holds the rich scions of Metropolis in his deadly thrall. He presides over macabre, gothic seances where his somnambulist, the LAUGHING MAN, issues grim predictions about the future.
WONDER WOMAN: THE BLUE AMAZON draws its inspiration from, and pays homage to Josef Von Sternberg’s The Blue Angel (1930) and Fritz Lang’s Doctor Mabuse (1922).
This book brings forth WONDER-WOMAN, the third keystone character of the DC Universe, and her arch-enemy THE CHEETAH! It also features the evil DR. PSYKHO.
Clarc Kent the SUPER-MAN reigns in the City of Metropolis. NOSFERATU the Bat-Man is supreme below the City. But what world lies above the City? THE BLUE AMAZON at last reveals the secrets of the "Metropolis" universe...
